I thought that teams would be fighting for places in the Hopman Cup this year with the Olympics coming up but seemingly not. Maybe Andy feels he needs a different 'run-in' to the AO this time round.

Or maybe Laura did not want to play.

Me too, but a change may be good. I am glad he will play in Brisbane though, at least still in Australia.

My telly's been showing this all week long for the first time ever. I so wish Andy and Laura were playing coz it's been so much fun. Love watching the mixed dubs in particular. Czech Republic has been very strong with Berdbrain and Kvitova. The Danish dude, Fred Nielson, has been pretty darned good too.
