Good day for the Germans in Stuttgart. Haas, Zverev and Kohl all through and Struff nearly made it 4. He was very narrowly beaten by Pouille who needed 5 match points to seal the deal.

Not sure who won it last year but I believe Kohlschreiber got to the final.

Dominic Thiem beat Kohlschreiber to win last year's Stuttgart Open after having beaten Roger in the semifinals.
