Not good news for him just before Wimbledon

Poor Kei, he has no luck with injuries, but hope this is just precautionary and he'll be fine for Wimbledon.
Apparently Nishikori has withdrawn or retired from his last 5 grass court tournaments and this is the third straight year he's retired in Halle.

Wow that's a lot!
The same twitter user has supplied a list of the top walking wounded amongst the top 400 players. Garza is a 32 year old Mexican who plays on the futures tour although not that often it would seem. :p

Fed in yet another final, will meet Sacha Zverev who beat Gasquet 6-3 in 3rd.
Hope Sascha wins. :swingin:
Players warming up - go Sascha
(Sky Sports 5)
I do hope Sascha gets support from the crowd - after all he is the home favourite. From the introductory cheers it sounds as though the crowd are split 50/50.

That is sad to hear.
Especially when our boy is not at his best!
Maybe Sascha was a bit overawed by the occasion but, I agree, Fed looks to be back to his grass court best. Certainly, Andy wasn't at his best at Queen's this week but he may well rise to the occasion at Wimbledon.
:grrr:
I didn't watch this match but it sounds very ominous for yet another Wimbledon title as well as improving his chances of becoming World #1 again. We know that this has been a goal for this year and the reason why he skipped the clay court season.
Really hope Andy will find his best form.

Certainly expected Fed to win but wasn't expecting such a rout, maybe Zverev didn't play his best but Roger looking mighty impressive and ready for Wimbledon!
There's many a slip twixt the cup and the lip .............. as my mother used to say!
The usual modest comments from Fed!
