Hopefully this quiet period we’ve had for the last couple weeks means that we’re getting plenty of action in Flushing Meadows. Fingers crossed!

The aim of this competition is to guess the bubble gap after the US Open. The current race rankings are as follows:

The current bubble gap is 295. That's Djokovic’s score(2585) - Andy's score(2290) = 295.

The highest possible bubble gap is 860. This involves Berdych winning the US Open, Querrey the finalist, Cilic getting to at least the QF and Dimitrov getting to at least the 3rd round.
The smallest bubble gap is 295. This is where no-one overtakes Djokovic.

So in summary, your guess is between 295 and 860. If you don't want to do any maths then just guess a random number and see how things turn out!
Remember that you can't guess the same number as someone else and once you've posted your guess you can't change it.

Ranking points on offer at the US Open are:

R1: 10
R2: 45
R3: 90
R4: 180
QF: 360
SF: 720
F: 1200
W: 2000

I think the final bubblegap will be different to what most people expected, with Carreno Buster and Anderson doing so well. Anderson had been on 1135 points before the US Open.
