View Full Version : Metz and St Petersburg - September 18th to 24th 2017
RBA is top seed in the 250 in St Petersburg, and PCB is the top seed in the 250 in Metz.
Liam Broady draws a qualifier in the first round of St.Petersburg but it's Gulbis. The match is 2nd on Centre Court tomorrow with play starting at 11pm UK.
LIE-AM Broady being introduced St.Petersburg Style. :jitterbug: (https://twitter.com/TennisChannel/status/910112236475105281) Liam leading 4-2 in the first set.
Excellent from Liam as he wins the first set 6-3 capitalising on Ernie's errors of which there were many.

Just seen that. Good news indeed, especially if he can go on to get the W
Liam consolidates the break for a 2-0 lead in the second set.
Gulbis DFs and Liam has a double break at 3-0. Nothing can go wrong now. :nailbiter: ;)
ACE and Liam holds to love. 4-0
Liam takes his 4th BP and breaks a third time. Deep breaths Liam. 5-0
Tremendous 6-3 6-0 from Liam who was so solid compared to a rank rotten Gulbis. Plays Mannarino in the 2nd round and is now guaranteed $17,090.
That would explain Gulbis' slide down the rankings then.
Fantastic!!:dance::dance::dance:

Always good news to hear about more free sports channels :) Paire vs Goffin on now.
I don't think the FreeSports is a Sky channel, just on the Sky platform. It is also on Freeview and other platforms :)

I have put more info on the Ways to watch TV thread. 25 ATP250s will be shown a year. - http://www.andymurrayfanforum.com/forums/showthread.php?2261-Ways-to-watch-tennis-on-TV&p=233118#post233118

Your probably right Cazza, as I just presumed it was Sky with it being with all the other sport channels, but why Sky Sports Mix is in the entertainment part is anybody's guess. so now we are being a spoilt for choice, hopefully it stays that way!!
I guess they have moved the Sky Mix as has become part of the general Sky subscription instead of in the Sky Sports package, but it still does not make sense to list it in entertainment as it is a sport.
St Petersburgh is being shown live on Eurosport player with highlights later on on the main channels.
The Metz final is on Freesports at 2.30 pm
Both Metz and st P were maiden titles for the winners. Gojowczyk in Metz against home favourite and dzumher against fognini in St p.
