Hi everyone

GB is through to the WG2 P/offs which are scheduled for April 21/22nd. There's been some chat about going to Fed Cup as a group to give the ladies some support so it would help to know your views on a trip

Great Britain gained enough points to nab the 16th seed position ahead of the draw for the WG2 Play offs in Apri and will be drawn against one of Canada, Japan, Latvia or Paraguay. Under Fed Cup rules the location in each case would be drawn by lot. If we are drawn away then Latvia is the most accessible for a w/end trip. Away to Canada, Japan or Paraguay might deter most of us.

Therefore if you are interested in a group trip to support the ladies please would you PM me with a copy of the note below with your responses as appropriate. Please remember that you need to be a British Tennis Team Member to be able to purchase priority (group) tickets for Fed Cup and DC.

I was thinking about this for home or Latvia but Japan would require a lottery win lol I don't even play the lottery

Would have been interested if it had been a home tie, so Japan is definitely a no go for me, shame:sad:

Like everyone else, whilst a trip to Japan would be fab, it's far too big a stretch for me with very little time to gather up the resources, so it has to be a NO for me too. Was going to PM Sally but when I heard the result of the draw, no point really. Thank you anyway Sally.

Shame it's not a doable tie for those that would have otherwise been able to go. I am away on holiday anyway so couldn't have gone wherever it was.

Why Why Why! I'd have gone for a home tie unfortunatly Japan for a weekend is just not doable

Japan!!! Lovely idea... but not practical unfortunately :-(
