Cam likes a challenge!!!
Thiem lost his QF 4-6, 0-6 to Verdasco in Rio last week, having won the title in Buenos Aires the week before.

Rafa has withdrawn from Acapulco due to his recurring hip injury!

Well Sally you were right Cam loves a challenge even though he lost, Sky only showed the last set & Cam certainly took it to Thiem & sure made him work for the win, great effort from Cam no shame at all, certainly not afraid of the higher ranked guys, so final score was Cam 3-6,7-5,5-7. Well Done Cam on getting this far & a lot more to come!

Great effort from Cameron, a pity he came up short but another great experience.

Some interesting things going on in Acapulco. Anderson beat Chung, Delpo beat Thiem and of course success for J & B. Zverev is up next for Delpo. (4am our time :sleepy:). Would really like to watch that one, but we'll see! Might need to save myself for IW next week.

Line up in Acapulco far superior to Dubai this year. Would love to see DelPo tonight but don't want to getup at 4 a.m. in this weather.

And Delpo beat Sascha, quite easily if the score is anything to go by. Sascha has not been at his best all week so obviously he couldn't squeak another win. So it's Delpo and Anderson in the final. I wouldn't have predicted that at the beginning of the tournament. Like both but want Delpo to win!

Woke up to two pieces of great news from Acapulco. DelPo winning the singles and Jamie/Bruno winning the doubles.

So pleased for Delpo! And 500 ranking points to boot. Think that brings him to #8 in the world.
