I see Djokovic has lost his first match in Barcelona to Martin Klizan. Did anyone see the match - was Djoko just outplayed?

Saw some of it. Knew Klizan could be a threat. I saw him play Rafa at Wimbledon a few years ago but still a surprise. What next for Djokovic I wonder. Aljaz down a break in Budapest which is disappointing.

Yet another disputed call - time hawk-eye was used on clay courts, in my opinion.

Benefited from Gasquet going out but still good win, well done Aljaz!

Well done Aljaz. Making good headway in Budapest. Meanwhile in Barca, Goffin has impressed me this week. I've seen all his matches and he has certainly been a bit of a Houdini, especially in his first 2 matches against Granollers and Khachanov respectively. I had written him off in both matches, but he came back from the brink both times to rescue the matches. Today he also came from behind, though not from as far behind as in his previous matches. So it's Rafa tomorrow in the SF. I wonder how tired Goffin will be after his monumental efforts this week? Rafa was challenged (Klizan) in the second set today, but as expected, came through. Surprised to see young Tsitsipas in the other SF!

Tsitsipas wins first set. He reminds me of Sascha but a more consistent one.

Tsitsipas another single-handed backhand player. He served for the first set at 5-4, lost his serve, but held it together to eventually take the set 7-5.

So Tsitsipas is the first into the finals. Greek tennis looking good this week. Maria Sakkari reached the SF in Istanbul.(Beaten there by Hercog.)

This Tsitsipas looks the real deal. Hoping to see him play on grass in a few weeks.

Great run from Tsitsipas and could well be a prospect, however can't see him doing much in final - assuming Nadal comes through of course.

Hardly seen any tennis all year, been so busy. Looking forward to Goffin v Rafa, hope my favourite little Belgian gets the win. Very best of luck David!

Goffin gave good account in first set, however Nadal just running away with it now at 4-0 in 2nd.

This is awful, poor wee Goff can't cope with the Nadal brutality. Can't say I'm sorry to have missed most of the clay season and Rafa bulldozing over everyone.

Nadal just dominating everyone on clay right now, a bagel in 2nd and his 44th consecutive set on the surface.

Tsitsipas won't be expected to do anything against Rafa tomorrow, so I hope he just comes out and goes for it - you never know!

I'm not surprised Goffin faded today. He had to work SO hard in all his previous matches to reach the SF and then to keep up with Rafa today was too big an ask. It looks like Nadal's name is on the trophy (again).

So tedious. It wouldn't be so bad if I enjoyed Rafa's game, but I don't - haven't really enjoyed clay since 2008 when Guga, the true artisan of the surface, retired.

I couldn't agree more, Rosiebear. If I had paid a lot of money for a ticket today, I would have felt incredibly short changed. It's not Rafa's fault, of course, unfortunately there is just no-one who can rival him on clay at the moment but like RB, I don't enjoy Rafa's game and such a one-sided final just becomes incredibly boring. I don't think it's good for the sport but that's the way it is. Anyone who might give Rafa a run for his money seems to be injured so I'll just have to look forward to the grass!
