I have to say I agree with monfils. He is a quick server and his rhythm has been broken every time by Raffa not being ready . I’m a Raffa fan but it’s too much for it to be said that Raffa isn’t ready. It should go at the speed of the server. Monfils should serve the ball. Raffa does things at his own speed why can’t monfils. If Raffa misses points because he’s not ready then tough. I don’t understand the umpire here. I don’t believe monfils is trying to fast serve Rafa. And with him at an average of 28 secs on his serve where is his warning? I am usually a Moh fab, but the umpiring is bad here. Raffa needs to be told a) 28 average is too long. B) speed of the server. If you aren’t ready get ready.

Havng said that nadal played very well. Monfils shouldn’t have let it distract him so much. Raffa is know for taking ages and monfils much know this. If it’s distracting, Block it out Congrats to Raffa who plays the winner or Lopez swartzman and Lopez is a set down at the moment

I now watch tennis from the tv on tape delay so I can fast-forward through the bouncing the ball a million times, towelling down, picking two from three balls excruciating bits between play and next serve. Rafa takes far longer than any other player esp. as he adds his OCD picking as well, and it is sooooooooooooo annoying - and this comes from a massive Rafa fan.

Pleased for Denis, sad for Rafa. But I do think the final will be between Thiem and Zverev and it'd be nice to see Thiem win.

Disappointing from Dom - led h2h 4-0 but feel like the occasion got to him today. Congrats to Sascha. I like him personality-wise but not game-wise - his brother inherited all the panache imo. Still have high hopes for Dom in Rome and RG, but has to find his best when it matters.
