Hey guys
Not sure if this has been mentioned but feel free to say if it has. ITV has netted rights to French Open tennis. Not sure about the move. BBC had interactive and all and not sure what ITV can do do keep that coverage. I guess the only upside is that it's not moved to sky as not everyone has sky sports

I suppose they will put it on ITV4 where they put other sports. Means we'll get adverts.

Wish they could put a match on all of the ITV channels! Will miss BBC interactive! You don't know what you miss till you lose it! Can you imagine if Andy wins the FO! BBC will be kicking themselves for losing the tv rights!

We may gripe over some of the commentators but could still be a bit of a blow if ITV don't have interactive, however at least everyone should still have access to the French Open. Some of us can also watch it on Eurosport.

I've always felt the BBC's coverage of non grass-court tennis was a bit half-hearted, TBH, so I don't think the move will make too much difference. Could be wrong...

great to see tennis tv coverage spread over more channels!! -

can't remember ITV covering any tennis before - but could be wrong about that?
I'm sure eurosport will still be covering RG also

The BBC often showed different matches to Eurosport, so I hope the same happens with ITV.

bbc always felt the need to show a fair share of womens matches, which is fair enough, except that some of the ones they chose were utterly awful and pointless as both players would normally be out in the next round.

Here's hoping for a better match selection...

I think it partly depends on which courts they put the players on. The BBC often used to get the main show court and Eurosport often showed one of the others.
