Pleased to see the service is holding up well . Undoubtedly Andy is a little ring rusty, but he will undoubtedly sharpen.

Kyle has some deficiencies in his game. Not the best volleyer and lots of missed first serves. But I'm sure he will get stronger on hard courts again with more matches.

Kyle also had Tonsillitis and may not have been the best prepared, though still may be disappointed with his play in the tight moments. Certainly Andy had moreto deal with though and deserved the win , displaying his greater variety to good effect.

Agree with all of that. I only watched the first set and despite Andy somehow nicking it, I expected Edmund to win in 3. It seems Andy found a way of winning whilst Kyle found a way of losing and to an extent defines their careers to date. But massive positives for Andy, great to see him competitive at a decent level, onwards and upwards.
