Sorry for being late with this. I’ve put the deadline as the start of the tournament, but I’ll probably change that to whatever time Kyle plays his 1st match.
If you need to remind yourself of the rules or you're new to this competition, then please read the rules posted here (http://www.andymurrayfanforum.com/forums/showthread.php?3218-Bubble-Gap-Championship-2018). The aim of this competition is to guess the bubble gap after Cincinnati. The current race rankings are as follows:
http://u.cubeupload.com/Manaus/RacePreCin18.png
The current bubble gap is 1465. That's Thiem's score(3005) – Kyle's score(1540) = 1465.
Red players are still playing in Toronto.
The highest possible bubble gap is 1990. This involves Kyle losing his 1st match, Thiem winning Cincinnati with Anderson losing in the SF and ending up in 8th place.
The smallest bubble gap is 475. This is where Kyle wins Cincinnati with Thiem losing his 1st match and no-one overtaking him.
So in summary, your guess is between 475 and 1990. If you don't want to do any maths then just guess a random number and see how things turn out!
Remember that you can't guess the same number as someone else and once you've posted your guess you can't change it.
Ranking points on offer at Cincinnati are:
R1: 10
R2: 45
R3: 90
QF: 180
SF: 360
F: 600
W: 1000
Good luck to all who take part and may the best driver win!:trophy:
Deadline: Monday 13th August, 12am UK time
