is anyone else planning on watching this? it feels a bit of light-relief in amongst everything else - tennis/non-tennis going on at the moment.

I don't often cheer for Novak or Roge. :tennis:

Yes, I’m aiming to watch the first session which begins at 6.30 pm our time, but can’t stay up for the last session of the day which begins at 1.00am when Fed and Djokovic are paired in the doubles. Do you know if there are any highlights going to be shown?

We have booked (with Tennisfan) our hotel in Geneva for next year!

thanks for the timings. Not sure re highlights. who knows - I am watching on Prime so not expecting the best planning from them. It's a fun tournament though with these two all time greats on the same side of the net.

I have only just realised that it is on Amazon Prime. It is on Sky Sports. I think/hope Amazon will have a highlights show as they did for the US Open.

I still remember watching Fed and Rafa in the doubles last year. Thought the whole event was great fun!

Last year it was shown on Cdn sports tv but not this year. Perhaps because there's no Cdn players involved. So I can't watch it.

Didn't realise it was on Prime! Have just added it to my watch list. However I'm out tonight and tomorrow night so won't be able to watch much of it.

Must say I was not that keen on the event when it was set up (with the crowded schedule even if it is basically an exhibition) and did not watch much last year though know there was some fun when Fed and Rafa played doubles. May watch a bit more this time seeing as Kyle and Goffin involved mind you. Of course from 2019 there will be less Davis Cup anyway and space to be filled with these type of events.

Kyle is second on in first session which starts at 6.30pm v Sock. First up Dimitrov v Tiaffoe. Federer and Djokovic play doubles in 1a.m. session.

:worship::rolling:Intros being done. It's just for fun and it's not so nauseous when Feddykins is on your team I've noticed. Good experience for Kyle to be spending time with these top players surely.

I'd be surprised if ANY of Team Rest of the World get any wins. Europe is stacked.

Kyle must have been nervous - won first set against Sock, lost the 2nd (despite playing the better tennis) but stayed strong in breaker to take it 10-6. Well done Kyle!

Just watching recording of the doubles and loved Novak's forehand catching Roger fair and square on the bum :big grin: The crowd loved it too!! :rolling:

I’ve just finished watching the highlights show too and also loved the doubles! I like the colour of the court as the ball is so easy to see.

Seen some of it last night, of course can't read too much into it but thought Kyle done well to get the win! tight one between Goffin and Schwartzman but David took match TB 11-9.

Team World much more of a team supporting each other. Seeing Nick in a completely different light. What a team player.

Watching this on Sky but wanted to have a look on prime to compare. Can't find it on tv tho it comes up on iPad.

Do you think so? Just tuned in to catch Isner/Sascha tb - was lmao at Fed and Djoko over-enthusiastic cheering, like every routine rally was like the most amazing thing they'd seen on a court  They all look to be having fun, hope Andy plays next year.

Can you put into search? I can see it easily though. It just comes up on the pix of films on top of the page.

I'm actually really enjoying it. How fabulous to see the players supporting each other.

As far as technology - sound is not great. It goes off completely each time a set is won and there's a noise which sounds like the a/c each time they serve.

I'm a real convert to the competition itself though.

Can't find search either. V strange. Sound went on mine at end of first set- on sky. Maybe to do with host feed.

Yes agree at end yes but not at beginning I felt. Fed was out warming up for his match whilst Nick never seemed to warm up at all which was amusing

I like the grey with the blue and red of teams. Sort of makes it like a computer game. I'd stick to Sky if I were you.

Got it to work by adding to my watchlist on iPad. Deffo better quality on sky.

Nick is so good at supporting team and so poor at helping himself on court.

Was surprised to get this on Amazon Prime over here in USA. It was a good stream on my laptop as well. I also love the color of the court and it does make it easier to see for me. Throughly enjoyed the doubles last night and will try and watch again tonight. My company just left so I missed the days action.

I really enjoyed this. Didn’t watch it last year as I think it was only on sky which I don’t have. The good thing about amazon prime is no adverts so you could listen in to that the players were saying at change of ends ... fascinating! Loved the cameraderie and Kyle seemed to turn into a completely different person as part of team Europe! Great experience for him mixing with those all time greats.

I too love having no adverts but was surprised that the commentators made no apologies for the swearing.
