Someone reported that Eurosport were showing Andy today but no sign thus far on any of the channels. Apparently can get it on http://sportstream.tv/
I'm using Sportstream; much better than bet365 where I'm stuck on the small screen.
andy broken again, nando serving for first set, and wins it 6-4.
andy serving first in set 2 of course, but they kept breaking serve in set 1 so that doesn't mean too much.

Yes, I got a google alert yesterday saying they were showing the match, but as you say no sign at all & have just checked their listings.
Oops - first set to Verdasco 4-6 :crying:

Pity Andy dropped serve again towards end of set and Verdasco took advantage, however still all to play for!
A pity but it's good to see Andy moving so well.
Andy's struggling and Nando's growing in cofidence.
Argh Andy missed the volley to give the break away
Andy nothing like as good as he was last time
andy broken in set 2, nando outplaying him just now, from the net, tho a struggle from deuce onwards
andy serving at 3-5, nando will be serving for the match, unless andy gifts it to him here!
nando serving, 5-4, c'mon andy, fight, fight, fight!
nando wins, 6-4, 6-4, 1hr39, long way to go for andy
Shame but not a bad run after so little match practice this year. Only Jo Salisbury left in now!
Bad luck, Andy:crying::crying::crying::crying:
Don't think Andy will be too happy about result, but early days, but his movement is a lot better I think, like he says more work needed!!
So from the hope of having 2 Brits in the semi, we have none! Pity Andy couldn't seem to find yesterday's form but he does seem to be going an extra round each tournament so I reckon he'll win the Australian! x
Disappointing - Andy just couldn't find his range today. He had a lot of chances in the first set that he didn't take advantage of and that allowed Nando to grow in confidence. A pity but it's just so good to see Andy back on court.

Disappointing but maintaining a high level proved to a challenge and perhaps consistency will take a bit longer, certainly positives for Andy to take moving forward but a work in progress.
Knew Andy wouldn't be happy.......:sad:

Highlights
I did wonder if Andy would struggle against Verdasco or not. There were times that the old Andy was there, but it seemed he really did need more matches.

And that is it for 2018. Slight ankle issue means withdrawal from Beijing.

Oh - that's sad - for us anyway ........ but maybe just as well.
That’s sad news. I hate to see him struggling like this. I still think the hip injury, is an injury too far for him. It was a miracle he managed to come back from the back injury.
I hope he does what is right for him,

Avoided my phone like the plague in hope Eurosport had shown this- got home back of 6 and they hadn't. Shame he can't plY Beijing but I would think he needs to be very careful with any niggles anywhere as playing through them could cause him to over compensate with other parts of body, risking the hip. Not worth it for sake of one tournament. Here's to Andy chasing away our January blues.

Didn't see any of the tournament as I only got back from Cadiz yesterday but wondered what would happen after Andy's sterling win over Goffin. Worrying about the injuries though. I hope he isn't pushing himself too far.

You are right. I can think of a word to describe him, but it would upset the mods. One who throws things.......
