Hi guys. Right quick update. I was planning to find a local Italian restaurant but was having difficulty with people not repsonding or wanting hefty deposits. While this was going on we then had a fire at the house. We are unhurt, other than extremely minor stuff from being too stubborn to admit defeat and wait for the fire service - and continuing to try and put the fire out ourselves. Dealing with it is a nightmare and involves multiple companies, insurers and people. Anyway so o got caught up in that and not booking the meal so it got late. So I have had to settle for the same old out of ease.

I have gone with Pizza express again. I’m giving them a second chance. They will want menu choices in advance but say it doesn’t need to be until the week before but I will put up the menny shortly And then start with orders. They assure me they aren’t due a menu change unilnthe week after our meal so it should be ok.

It’s pizza express kings water front 8pm - liverpool so near to many peoples hotel but I thought we could also go to the smugglers for a drink beforehand. After all this I could use one! Any problems message me. Now We are working through the fire stuff gradually I should be more available.

Looking forward to it. Vegans there are vegan options on the menu - same goes for vegetarians.

Yeah kings water front. With all the time I spend on the phone and sorting this post fire mess I just didn’t have the patience for calling other restaurants to see who offered what. We still haven’t had any building work started. Constant back and forth with surveyors and insurance and builders. Driving me to my wits end! But we weren’t hurt and that’s the main thing x

I suggest meeting up for drinks first. I was thinking the smugglers cove? It has great cocktails and non alcoholic cocktails and lots of ale/cider options. It’s not far from the restaurant - 3 minute walk.
