Watched the Sandgren/ Bublik match. Quite dramatic and very close. Bublik used the dropper loads and even threw in an underarm serve. I remember watching him years ago and loving his unorthodoxy. Thought he might have made it to tour level before now, but due to his style of play, I wonder if he can stay at this level consistently?

OMG! Kyrgios playing Bublik tomorrow. That could be fun. Might be a few underarm serves. Would hate to be the umpire for that one! :battle:
David Ferrer beat Querry! Yay! Nice one David.
Highly entertaining match between Kyrgios and Bublik. As they both try to out-drop-shot each other, there is not an underarm serve to be seen (yet).

Another defeat for Sacha as Ferrer comes back to defeat him 7-5 in the 3rd,whilst Rublev puts out Cilic in straights. Wawrinka let his match with Krajinovic slip losing final set breaker and Khachanov outplayed by Thomson 6-3,6-2. Federer also got into a bit of trouble losing 1st to qualifier Albot but came through 6-3 in 3rd.

Shapovalov did not make too much of an impression, pretty straightfoeward 6-2,6-4 win for Fed. First semi was a bit closer but Isner put out Felix in two breakers.

Yeah pretty disappointing. Tbh wasn't expecting either of them to win BUT Felix had broken Isner in BOTH sets and couldn't serve it out. So that was pretty bad but he did say nerves got to him. And Denis also looked very nervous against Federer but that's understandable.
Won't be watching the final. Would rather whitewash my basement walls.

Think Federer was likely going to win this one anyway but little contest with Isner hampered by foot injury, hobbling towards end of match as Roger took it 6-1,6-4. Fed's 101th title and just eight behind Connors now.

At this rate it won't be long before Federer breaks Connors' record
