Sadly neither Jay or James got through first round yesterday - James well beaten but Jay was close. Hopefully Heather and Katie S will have better luck on Wednesday.

So sad for Heather -she fought so hard for almost 3 hours to lose 5-7 7-6 6-7.

Katie seemed to be doing fine till losing her serve and the set 4-6. She is now off court having treatment (left leg/thigh?) while her opponent is getting in some serving practice.
