All the best of luck, Andy:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
Phew the good ole switch off at the mains for a minute & here we go phew!!...COME ON ANDY!!!
Andy wins the first game.
I've got it on the ATP live scores, lynne.
First set to Andy - 6 - 3 ….well done..:yahoo::yahoo:
Game and first set to Andy! 6-3.
Come on Andy, another set like that and cheer me up!x
4 - 4. Getting closer to playing Alex de Minaur.
Andy makes it 5 - 5 with his seventh ace.
Clancy might like this, it's now gone to a tie break.
Just got home to hated tiebreak. Rats and triple rats. 1 set all. :-(
One set all :sad: Come on Andy:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
Tennys saves a match point, but Andy can't save a set point. Tennys wins the second set 7 - 6 (8 - 6).
Andy wins the first game of the third set.

A pity but Andy impressing none the less, hopefully good start to decider!
Andy breaks Tenny's serve to make it 2 - 0.
3 - 0. Personally, I think Andy's current live ranking of 606 doesn't do him justice.
The physio is now with Tennys.

Amazing from Andy to go up 3-0 and Sandgren appears to be struggling , not over yet though.
Now up to 8 deuces in the fourth game.
At last! Andy breaks to make it 4 - 0.
What a game! Just about every Murray speciality in that one...lob, backhand down the line etc, etc.
On his twelfth ace, Andy makes it 5 - 0.
Tennys finally wins a game.
Andy gets the win - fantastic - very well done. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Great win, Andy played really well.
Excellent. So much better than the last match. What happens in the next match doesn’t matter too much. He has beaten a top 100 player in a really tough match. It’s a giant step forward. Well done AM.
I'm hugely impressed and encouraged by what I saw today. Andy has clearly been working very hard since his last match. Great to see all those oh so familiar Andy shots. Well done champ!! :clap::clap::clap:
Brilliant for Andy and he's gone up about 100 places in the live rankings.
:clap::clap::clap: fantastic show of tennis from Andy, a lot of vintage Murray in that match, hope he is ok, just brilliant to see, made my day!!! Rest easy Andy!!!:thumbup:

Andy pretty much in the groove , serve was strong and the movement most impressive. Convincing in the 3rd though one very long game and would have been physically demanding, hopefully ok for the next one. A lot to be proud of in any case :clap::clap::clap:
So thrilled for him and me! I fell on the last day of my holiday in Corfu and ended up in a clinic with 4 broken ribs and a broken pelvis. I'm still here a week later and trying desperately to get home but no fit to fly report produced as yet. I am here on my own, 78, deaf, in a room on my own and most of the nurses speak very little English. As you can imagine,I am feeling very very isolated. So you'll understand at last something to cheer!Thank you, Andy. I don't mind what happens in his next match. He will always be my hero, honarary grandson, and perhaps very soon I'll get the air ambulance home I'm praying for; just want to be back on UK soil. x

A bit of a slog but he got there in the end. Let's hope he has something in the tank for the next match
How good was it watching some Murray magic again. It was great seeing his movement around the court. His serve wow. He can rest tomorrow and be ready for his match against Alex, whoo hoo.
Big Hugs clancy :grouphug::grouphug:
Oh you poor thing, hope you will get home soon. My prayers are with you.
That is awful, Clancy. I do hope that you are able to get home soon and glad that Andy has brightened up your day.

Don't! She has broken ribs! :big grin:
Can I suggest that people e-mail Amazon Customer service to thank them for deciding to cover Zhuhai for us? They have been driving us mad, but it might be good for them and us to encourage them a bit.

:oops: Sorry didn't think!!!!......:doh::big grin:
Oh Clancy, that is awful for you. I really feel for you. You must be in some considerable pain. Sending you hugs and sympathy. So glad Andy cheered you up today. Maybe Dan will do the same for you tomorrow when he plays Grigor. And then there will be Andy again on Thursday! I hope you will be home soon. xx
Ha ha! Two smiles in one day! Hope I get another tomorrow with a fit to fly report, and then one on Thursday with another Andy win! I must admit I've been very down but today things are better.I miss my dogs desperately. Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. xx

Oh my goodness Clancy, get well soon. Hope Andy brightened your day. I missed it of course as at work and out tonight so will have to wait until tomorrow to watch the replay. Sounds like a really positive day for Andy's return
I know I am probably being dim witted, but in the live rankings AM seems to have dropped points rather than gained them. Is this to do with Queen’s and Eastbourne last year?

Love it. I saw the Terracotta Warriors in Liverpool last year. They were awesome.
So, so sorry to hear your news, Clancy. I've got everything crossed for you getting home to your canine pals soon. Take care and keep smiling!

Oh Clancy, hope you get home soon, rotten end to your holiday.
Sounds awful Clancy - have you got Travel Insurance to help you? Will the British Embassy help. Can you use Google Translate?
Hope you get back to your hounds soon.

It's because he will drop last year's Shenzen QF points (45) on Monday.
Yes, seems to be a battle between hospital and insurers. The hospital is saying I need an air ambulance return on a trolley, have done fit to fly report and happy for me to leave asap in this way; insurers saying they want me to have physio (after a week!) so that I can sit on a normal aircraft.A nightmare think I will still be here at Christmas! Food is not geared to English tastes as hotels and no choices, of course. If it carries on there will be nothing of me to send back! Just want to get home to our marvellous NHS asap.

Wow Andy ! What a sight for sore eyes! Much better than I'd hoped for :)
Really sorry to hear about your accident Clancy, will be praying that you get well enough very soon to get home x :grouphug:
So sorry to hear about your accident Clancy. Nothing worse than being sick overseas. Hope you can get back to UK as soon as possible. :flowers:
Glad Andy managed to cheer you up & at least there is some tennis on to pass the time of day.
I enjoyed todays match, Andy played well and seemed to be moving better, although did look exhausted at the end of it. Heat & humidity probably didn't help.
