Wow emotional!! Dread to think of the state we're going to be in with the full thing!
One of the presenters on BBC Breakfast interviewed Andy "somewhere" yesterday, and the footage will be broadcast during the programme on Thursday morning.

Has anyone heard what time this will be shown?
I've just heard Andy on radio five live talking about it. He came up with the idea, while he was in Australia having the hip operation. I don't have access to Amazon Prime, as I would like to watch it.

I love the double meaning of the title too. Usually on Prime and other channels like it, programmes are just released. It will be a matter of what time zone.

Just watched it. Very tearful at times.
Amazing determination. Just amazing.
Funny how we see there what we were observing and talking about here on the a Forum but didn’t actually know what it all meant. The tears post Cincinnati for example.
Cried again at his Wimbledon and Olympic wins! Never fails to get me going!

Watched last night. Very open and revealing film of Andy's struggles. It was very moving and had me in tears especially when you just heard his voice. His sense of humour was apparent and the love and affection from those closest to him. Will watch it again tonight. Thrilled that I was a part of it. A clip showing Caro, Angie, who appeared twice, Zainab, me and others.

Just finished my first watch of Resurfacing - will certainly be watching it again. It was really wonderful and very moving. We probably had an inkling of the tough times Andy went through but this really shows what a struggle he has had. I was so touched by the dedication of his team - Matt, Shane, Jamie D who clearly love him and the feeling is mutual. Most of all it was great to see Andy just being himself in good times and bad. As SG already said the bits where Andy's voice recordings share his innermost thoughts are very moving.
Also loved seeing Sophia & Edie, and a nice balance of including them but not showing their faces to protect their privacy. Also credit to Kim, she seems such a sensible and strong lady who has supported Andy through a difficult period.
Shout-out to the forum members who made it to the screen - a very brief shot of the group in Ghent but you'll need to pause to see the faces. Some great shots of some of you at Queens though. Also really loved Andy talking about the court for his match at the AO with RBA being open to grounds passholders - "you get the people who really love tennis, not just the rich people". Great that he really appreciates the support
If you thought you couldn't love Andy any more than you already do, you will once you've watched it. Absolutely unmissable
I've just finished Resurfacing. I didn't want it to end. It was compelling from start to finish. If anyone deserves to be happy and pain free, it's most certainly Andy. I wish him (and ultimately us!) many long years of continued pain free happiness, whether it's on or off the tennis court. I loved the discreet little peeks at Sophia and Edie. Edie is the sweetest, cutest little thing. Andy has formed a special bond with her as he was around more from she was a baby. I will most certainly be watching this many more times, and I'm sure everytime there will be tears afresh. I'm off now to read all the comments on here as I haven't had time to do that yet. Wanted to watch the film first. Apologies if I've repeated anything that has already been said.
I’m watching it right now. It’s wonderful revisiting some of the footage I remember from years ago, seeing the young curly-haired tennis player that so many people didn’t quite understand. He captivated me from the very early days, and I was sure that if I happened to know him personally I would really like him. Like most of the fans on this forum, we really did ‘get’ him, we stuck by him and felt at one with him. Now he’s older, nothing has changed and nothing will change my huge respect and affection for him. ‘Resurfacing’ is a wonderful celebration of a truly great sportsman and a thoroughly decent human being. Thank you Andy for adding something very special to my rather ordinary life.

Well. Where to start?
I mean, it's all very well for those 'tennis-fan-for-Wimbledon-only' people, who for about 3 weeks of every year become Andy's biggest fans, got opinions on everything, armchair analyst, keyboard warriors. For the other 49 weeks of a year, they probably give him little thought. But it's not like that for us. We live it all the time & the film was in many ways just like following Andy's matches. Ups & downs, gains & losses, success & failure, humour & anger. Amazing to see it from his perspective & to see his family & team supporting him in ways we don't see.
I laughed, cried, smiled, cried, fist pumped, cried. It hurt you to watch some bits but in the same way it is worth the agony of being an Andy fan for the ecstasy of the victories, it was worth every damn tear.
So if there is any kind of justice in this world, then long may he play tennis, win matches, get trophies, be happy & be pain free.

Can't wait to sit down and watch this. Saving it for when I have time to give it my full attention- and recover afterwards
I tried to watch this last night but it wasn't available over here, so imagine my surprise when I found out that it is now available in USA.
I sat down and watched.
It was am amazing documentary of Andy. I echo all of your thoughts. I loved the way he was so open, and it was heartwrenching.
Was good to see familiar faces, who truly deserve to be part of this. I will definitely be watching it again.

Night out cancelled - so I was able to pour a wee glass, sit back and enjoy. Compelling viewing. What a fighter. So many emotional moments but yet so dermined. Certainly an easier watch knowing what followed .... but oh my the memories of those difficult days. The doubles at Queen's is probably my favourite tennis moment of the year. Just such unconfined joy - from Andy and from us fans. ( despite my frustration at having to abandon the final to catch my flight home after first set. )
I've just received an email from Kurtis Reid from the BBC enquiries team saying the BBC will never show this, as Amazon have got exclusive rights to it.
I've looked at the Amazon website and it is still there. I was thinking of doing the 30 day free trial, but does anyone know how to put the sound up on an iPad? When I tested it out on the BBC's iPlayer, the sound was very low.
Finally watched it. I loved seeing him at home, and the glimpses of him as a dad. The operation scenes struck a bit close to home mind you. It dawned on me that something very similar has been done to me...!!!
Whatever happens now after The Queen’s Doubles and Antwerp this year, all is well.

There’s 2 volume buttons on one of the long sides. One up, one down. If you’re still struggling you could invest in a small speaker which plugs into the headphone socket.

My family and I just watched this documentary. It was very emotional for my wife and me and we both shed a few tears. This is an amazingly honest and graphic account of a man’s journey along a road littered with obstacles. Andy is very open and introspective and the viewer will see the qualities that define him as a person and an athlete. What does it take to achieve greatness? How much can a human body and soul endure? What does sport mean to an athlete who sacrifices everything to reach his or her potential? This is an inspirational story about no regrets and a glimpse into a champion’s fight through the impossible. I also found it touching to witness the unconditional love and support his family and team provided during his most trying moments. Huge respect and admiration to all involved. Watch this. #resurfacing #amazonprimevideo

My sister reckons Amazon will have it for a while. I tried to join their free trial, yesterday, but I just kept being told that I'm already a member. I thought it was weird, as I've never joined them and I've never watched anything on their website.

But do you have an amazon prime account for shopping? It's the same account.
Does anyone know if it's straightfoward to cancel Prime after the free trial runs out?

Well personally think it is easy to cancel online, you should ensure you cancel ahead of time and can cancel after taking out- if you go into account and then prime Membership can cancel from there. Further information in this guide I found it no trouble in the past, though I currently have an annual membrship mainly for the tennis (got £59 offer) Amazon- Cancel Prime

So you may be surprised to learn that the initial idea for the film came from Murray himself. It helped of course that the director he approached was a family friend - Olivia Cappuccini is the girlfriend of his brother-in-law, Scott Sears, both pictured below.
Just watched it on my laptop, as it didn't work on the iPad. I enjoyed it and shed a few tears, along the way. I remembered being there for him when he won the 2012 Olympic gold medal. Also, being there for when he won Wimbledon twice. I believe there is still more to come for him for next year.
Glad you got to see Resurfacing, Stell. Worth all the effort involved I'm sure you'll agree!

I think it was in the period around summer 2018 when there was a lot of speculation in the press - would Andy play Wimbledon & how had was the injury really. I think he felt pressure to provide answers when he didn't really have any to give at that point

Ah, this was the hardest bit for me to watch. He was going through hell, physically and emotionally, yet the press (and not just them) wouldn't just leave him alone and give him the time and peace he craved. He said that the other British players were doing well and the press should have been focussing on them, but instead they were hounding him for an announcement about the grass season so they could turn it into a huge drama if he said yes but then had to withdraw. The section was filmed in his home gym, and he's wearing a white t-shirt. Sorry don't know the exact time, but it's quite a way in. I found it very tough to watch, far more so than the gruesome bits. He looked and sounded so sad and frustrated - pain and injury is inevitable the hassling wasn't. After everything he's given the tennis world, it couldn't repay him in the most basic way while he was suffering. He deserved a lot better.
On a brighter note, I thought it was a brilliant, raw documentary that provided an utterly compelling insight into an incredible person and competitor. I definitely could have only watched it knowing he had a happy ending though!

I'm hugely late to the party on this one for one reason and another which I won't go in to.
Loved it. Although I felt I knew a lot about the work ethic, importance of the team etc, this tells us so much more. What amazing drive and what an amazing team. And amazing behind the scenes like we've never seen before. Will definitely be watching again. I wish it could have gone on until Antwerp though. I thought it ended a bit quickly and abruptly.

I just watched the last bit again , from where the surgeon asks if she should get a hat for Wimbledon (I have watched it loads of times btw!)
I love the song at the end, it's called 'Breathe' by Seinabo Say. The lyrics are quite fitting too, about moving forward & believing in yourself. I just hope, hope, hope theres more to come as even though I had started to accept that it might be the end, I really, really, really am not ready to get off the Murraycoaster for good!

Watched it again today (3rd time). It seemed appropriate given Andy's delayed return. Different things have struck a chord each time I've watched it. This time it was the voice note where Andy talks about what tennis means to him - it was always an emotional listen when he referred to "the thing that happened in Dunblane" but what got me this time was when he talks about Jamie leaving home to train and how this affected him - the bond between the two brothers must be so strong. I also love Kim more and more each time I watch
Finally got to watch this. The ovation from the crowd in Australia really got me. I might have to watch again...
