Andy may not be playing yet but there’s still plenty of tennis action around. We’ll be following Dan Evans until Andy returns so the races continue on.
If you need to remind yourself of the rules or you're new to this competition, then please read the rules posted here (http://www.andymurrayfanforum.com/forums/showthread.php?4468-Bubble-Gap-Championship-2020). The aim of this competition is to guess the bubble gap after the Aus Open. The current race rankings are as follows:
http://u.cubeupload.com/Manaus/RacePreAus20.png
The current bubble gap is 5. That's Nadal’s score(250) – Dan's score(245) = 5.
The highest possible bubble gap is 1985. This involves Dan winning the Aus Open and Nadal losing his 1st match with no-one overtaking him.
The smallest bubble gap is 25. This involves Dan losing his 1st match and 8 players who haven’t earned points yet overtaking him.
So in summary, your guess is between 25 and 1985. If you don't want to do any maths then just guess a random number and see how things turn out!
Remember that you can't guess the same number as someone else and once you've posted your guess you can't change it.
Ranking points on offer at the Aus Open are:
R1: 10
R2: 45
R3: 90
R4: 180
QF: 360
SF: 720
F: 1200
W: 2000
Good luck to all who take part and may the best driver win!:trophy:
Deadline: Monday 20th January, 12.01am UK time
