The Bryan Brothers - Doubles Legends - Bow out .....

Bob and Mike Bryan, twins and tennis doubles team, have retired.
The announcement was made in New York yesterday.

Think it was on the cards but was still a pity Bob/Mike did not get a farewell year with the season being curtailed so much. of course the Bryans could have continued a bit longer but understandable they decided it was the right time to call it a day. I found them exciting and did see them live at times (in tournaments as well as when GB drew them in Davis Cup), think they done a lot to raise the profile of the Doubles game. Certainly a great career, may not have been quite the same force laterally but enjoyed watching them.

They were due to retire after the US Open, but because there will be no fans sitting there watching it, they decided to retire now.
