The ESPN commies said today there'd be no mixed dubs. They were talking about how well Jamie and his partners have done in the mixed the last three years. Very disappointing imho.

Certainly is disappointing no Mixed, they changed their minds on the Wheelchair events which are going ahead.

So disappointing as Jamie/Bruno had a few chances to turn 2nd in their favour, some great returns from Soares/Pavic but was not best from the Brits!
Disappointing. J&N couldn't quite get on the front foot. Next time!
Disappointed for Jamie and Neal.

Very disappointing for Jamie and Neal. I had hoped they’d be doing better than this at this point in their partnership. I do wonder if Jamie will regret moving on from Bruno. Hopefully the decision will start to bear fruit soon.

Think Jamie and Neal's results have been a bit mixed overall but they did have a good run in Cincinatti (even if did not perform that well in final) and were semi finalists at Us Open last year .

I think we should remember that although they paired up in June 2019, between then and now there has been the normal off-season and several months of no tournaments played. In effect, it is still early days in their partnership and they have had some very good results if not consistent yet.

I recognise that but that issue is the same for all players This year - And Bruno was playing well with his new Partner.
I wonder if the fact that Neal lives in the US and plays there for these stints means they don’t get enough time together?
Tie break in the first set for Ram and Salisbury.
Koolhof and Mektic win the first set 7 - 6 (7 - 3).
I had hoped when Jamie and Bruno split that Jamie might have paired up with Salisbury ........ if the objective was to have a British partner to play the Olympics with ..... that would have been awesome! Sadly, it wasn't to be but I think we have to give the Jamie/Neal partnership a fair shot before writing it off.

Personally think their problem isn't lack of understanding/ time together - they gel as a pair - it's that Neal struggles with nerves in big matches, and subsequently Jamie doesn't have confidence in him and gets tight as well. Shame.
4 - 4 in the second set for Ram and Salisbury.

Not to be as Joe /Rajeev could not take the crucial points, expected a better performance really but still had another good run in a slam.

Happy for both Bruno and Pavic. Pavic is Cdn Gabi Dabrowski's mixed dubs partner so I have a soft spot for him and Bruno used to be Jamie's. So, well done them!
