Thanks guys. Keep the names coming. For old and new members alike!
I'd like to do this too, thanks! :)
Sorry to sound like a total idiot but could you give me some idea of gifts given last year before I sign up? I don't really have any idea of what a virtual gift constitutes!

Imagine your dream gift. In real life you wish you could have one but may not be able to afford it. So instead of buying it, you give the idea of something. Like an amazing car, a great holiday, tennis tickets... Use your imagination and post a link of what the gift would be (if you were say a millionaire lol!) Something like the example I posted. Or alternatively it could be something that is personal, heartwarming, thoughtful. Could be even a bunch of sayings. Sometimes we have had like photoshopped things or I remember once Speedy Hawk did a cool thing based on elves dancing and put the person she was secret santa of as the elves. Cute, funny and thoughtful.
It could be anything really. The world is your oyster and you have no minimum or maximum virtual spend ;) Hope that helps...

That's 'cos we do most of the Christmas shopping!!! Come on boys....need your fantastic and original ideas. You know you can do it if you put your mind to it.
I'm useless with ideas. I did it last year and can't remember what virtual present I gave, though I can remember that it was for Kev. If you're willing for someone to have an unimaginative present, count me in.
Well I thought I'd finished my Xmas shopping but I've rashly added myself to the list, Xe!!
Cool! 12 already and still plenty of time for others to join in... hint hint ;)

And here is a present for Golden Lady
Dear Golden Lady
Santa hears you've had a very busy and sometimes traumatic time this year.
So, he's sending you a few little treats because you deserve them.
First of all - a much needed break and what better than a long weekend away for a mega pamper (http://www.gleneagles.com/spa/the-spa-experience) in the company of your best friends up at Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire. On the 2nd afternoon of your stay you'll meet up with Judy Murray for Cakes and Champagne (http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=afternoon+tea&num=10&um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&channel=s&biw=1024&bih=578&tbm=isch&tbnid=xZNvRqc77abhSM:&imgrefurl=http://armchairanglophile.wordpress.com/2011/01/02/afternoon-tea/&docid=X1EP-DPRbTwPRM&imgurl=http://armchairanglophile.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/afternoon-tea.jpg&w=490&h=657&ei=vurzTuG5BtOzhAfQ0KGSDA&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=228&vpy=178&dur=3357&hovh=260&hovw=194&tx=90&ty=133&sig=101626593328044251212&sqi=2&page=1&tbnh=113&tbnw=81&start=0&ndsp=14&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0)!
Next up is a little bit of time for you and hubby so as your girlfriends leave he'll arrive and you'll have a further 3 days at Gleneagles to relax and enjoy yourselves. Since you love shopping there's a day trip organised to Glasgow with £5000 to spend on whatever you like.
And finally, you need to watch some tennis ...
Santa had to set the Elves to work overtime for this but they've come up with a ticket (and first class accommodation) for the Olympic tennis final (http://www.london2012.com/wimbledon)which will, of course, be won by Andy Murray!!!

Think I know who my secret santa is.....hope I'm right!:peekaboo::xmas2::santa:
Dear Santa
Thanks so much for the really fantastic gift - a wonderful surprise. :santa smile: It'd be a dream come true to meet Andy, Kim and the dogs especially since I've never met Andy. :santa dance: I'm sure tho that I'll be tongue tied and unable to speak. :rolling: The best part of the present will be to have a big hug and kiss from Andy. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
Hope you will have a very happy time over Christmas and very best wishes for the New Year.
:merry christmas: :happy new year:
I think Santa should have thrown in a side trip to Disney World for Lizzim whilst she's in New York.
I have narrowed down my SS to two people. Not sayin' anymore.
But Santa seems to know that NY is my second favourite place! Thanks so much Santa :)

Your present this year is a trip to all 4 grand slam tournaments for you and a guest of your choice.
You will first travel to the Australian open http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/index.html
Next up is the French open http://rolandgarros.fft-tickets.com/uk
After that you will get tickets to Wimbledon with a hospitality package http://www.wimbledon.com/
And finally the us open where you will have the best seats available for the whole tournament http://usta.usopen.org/US-Open/2012_ticket_plans/
And if all of these tournaments are too much holiday for you to take at work - I have approved an additional holiday entitlement for you this year so that you can go :)
Merry Christmas from your secret Santa :santa dance::santa smile:
