Venice Blue.....I do have a lot of others but this is a special favourite of Supergramps and mine. Bobby Darin.
I have so many it's very difficult to choose but 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' by Ewan MacColl has to be one of my all time favourites. Loved it done by Ewan himself but it's since been covered by numerous people including Roberta Flack and Celine Dion.
What's your favourite carol? Again I have many but I think my favourite is 'In The Bleak Mid Winter'. My pet aversion is 'Away In a Manger' but I think that stems from 40 years of directing Nativity plays!
Favourite classic I think must be the duet from the 'Pearl Fishers'.

I love In the Bleak Midwinter too Alis - lovely carol - love singing it. My other favourite is O Holy Night which I'm singing on Christmas Eve.
I have far too many favourite songs to choose one I think .... I will have to think about that one!
My favourite song changes a fair bit but at the moment it's "I Never Came" by Queens Of The Stone Age.
My favourite song changes a lot but at the moment it's Details in the Fabric by Jason Mraz feat. James Morrison because I have had a stressful few weeks trying to fit assignments in around being in and helping to organise a panto along with everything else in my life and everytime I listen to this it makes me feel so calm and less worried about everything. My favourite part is "hold your own, know your name and go your own way, and everything will be fine" Such good advice :)

Yeah, I liked his version too. Also in 1982 The Tom Tom Club had a hit with the same song. Popular!

Yup, nothing beats the 80s. Except maybe the 60s.

I love Silent Night and Under the Boardwalk too. Never heard of the other two. Never heard of Venice Blue either. Can you tell that I don't listen to the radio much? :shamed:
