Andy is already in Biella and has accepted a Wildcard into Qualifying for this first event there, of a series of 4 Challengers - 2 in Feb and 2 in March. He has direct entry to the 2nd event starting 15th February, for which there is a separate thread.

UPDATE - Andy has no need to qualify, now has a Wildcard into the main draw.

Andy Murray's first match at the Biella Challenger in Italy next week will not be in qualifying but in the main draw after a wild card became available at the last minute.

I can't get either the FB page or official website to work - maybe a glitch that they'll have sorted out before the tournament starts. Nothing opens at the moment - schedule/draws/information - so I suspect it'll be resolved in the next 24hrs.

... 2 sets maybe Andy will be on by 5pm, 3 sets maybe 5.30pm???
Should never listen to Sally, only discovered it had started after two games! So far so good, though...

I think Gaio gave up once he lost the first set (had physio on) and Marchenko capitalised.
T'was a bit of a turn around after the tortuous first hour!

After losing the first set he played, he's now in the final.
I don't think people realize how hard it is to do this.

Bit of a postscript to the Biella-1 Challenger ...

I hope this comes across diplomatically but I wonder how the regular Challenger level players viewed Andys' presence at this event, particularly last week when I understand there were rumblings (from Marchenko*) that Muzzah was getting preferential treatment.
Given his current ranking Andy has every right to be a direct entry in the Biella-2 event - and as a result he'll be up against stiffer competition against which to check out his movement and fitness - but I wonder if last week , at Biella-1, there was some stirring going on which made him a juicier target for one or two players.
*Marchenko was apparently a tad needled by Murray being at Biella-1, which might have lent some extra power to his elbow in Sundays' Final. See extract from Simon Briggs (DT).

Be4 the final, he added "oh, now I have to anwser for my words XD"(he didn't think he'd actually face Murray in the end (and win)). He's a funny guy.
