BIELLA-1, 2021. SF. Andy wins 6-0, 7-5 over Bourgues

In the Semi-Final of the Biella-1 Challenger Andy will take on Mathias Bourgue.

The Frenchman is currently ranked #213 (CH 140, 2017) and has a career W/L record of 1/3 on the ATP Tour. He mostly plays in Challenger events so those W/L aren't counted in his bio but he's made his living on that tour for a few years now.

Although the H2H is 1-0 (https://www.atptour.com/en/players/atp-head-2-head/andy-murray-vs-mathias-bourgue/MC10/BK19) in Andys' favour, their only meeting was a long 5-setter in the R64 of Roland Garros 2016 which Andy finally won 6'2, 2'6, 4'6, 6'2, 6'3. I guess the workout must have helped because that's the year he reached the RollyG Final ... and won everything else including Wimbledon and another Gold medal.

Probably a stronger field because more guys banked on being out of the AO event and needed to get their names down for the next swathe of Challengers. There are some changes to the Entry List as some drop out due to travel arrangements and taking options to play in other Challengers in Europe/Africa that week.

Having updated the Entry List it looks as though 2 of the top ranked players (Pouille and Ivashka) are OUT and the next 2 eligible players for seeding will be Donskoy and Murray. I think the draw is out so I'll go and check it ...

Andy isn't seeded, I suspect the withdrawals came AFTER the draw was made because there are LL spots filled instead of replacement seeds.
