Wonderful news! Like Mickey, I wonder why he hasn't requested a wild card - I'm sure even the French would give him one :whistle:


As an aside, I'm really pleased Andy has been shown more respect and given more peace during this injury time out compared to previous breaks. Maybe it's the pandemic or maybe it's because Andy's documentary really showed how hurt he was to be hounded when trying to overcome serious injury. Dare we dream journos took note. Either way he deserves the greater privacy :thumbup:

He's probably still needing the matches and doesn't want to embarrass himself by turning up and going out in the first round or struggles to past his first round opponent.

Let's hope that is the reason - suggests confidence in fitness and recovery. Qualies then the most gruelling main event on tour is a very big ask after weeks of not competing though.
