Hope Jamie has benefited from some time at home - he’s sounded like he’s struggling with the COVID restrictions and how much time he’s been away from home because of it. Hope it perks his form up

Dan Evans/Jonny O'Mara about to start their R1 doubles against Feli Lopez/Jannick Sinner.
It's being shown on Amazon Prime, not sure if it'll appear on BBC Red Button. BBC2 is currently following Shapovalov v Vukic but transmission ends in 5 mins and will switch to Red Button.

Looks like Cam Norrie is the only British player to survive doubles today! He and de Minaur just put Joe/Rajeev out 5-7 6-1 12-10
Jamie/Bruno lost 4-6 4-6 and the Skupskis lost 7-6 6-7 2-10

Cam still flying the flag with de Minaur

Pity Jamie/Bruno generally not showing the best of form lately , tight losses for Jo/Rajeev and the Skupskis. However at least Norrie/De Minaur caused one of the upsets.

Agreed, what a disappointment, apart from Cam in singles and doubles

Karatsev/Purcell took the first set (6'3) v Norrie/De Minaur.
Aslan might want to avenge his singles defeat by Cam earlier today.

Cameron Norrie does the double ...
... wins Doubles QF (with De Minaur) by 3'6, 6'4, 10'6 against Karatsev/Purcell
... won Singles R2 against Karatsev to reach the QF.
Players on court warming up for the unfinished semi-final . Good luck Cam and Alex
And that's it over - Opelka and Peers win 7-6, 6-3

Not too long on court, unfortunately could not recover frm being broken at 2-3. Doubles final in 5 minutes.
Good to see Herbert/Mahut take the title 6-4,7-5, though failed tio serve it out the first time. As usual a number did not stay to watch though!
Mahut is brilliant at Queens esp in the doubles. But in 2007, if I remember without checking ,he played a classic against Roddick in singles ,or was it Nadal?
Mahut played Isner in 2010 when Isner won 70-68, with the match lasting more than 11 hours over three days.

Think @Big Al is talking about Queens rather than Wimbledon, mind the match against Roddick. Mahut beat Nadal in the quarters finals in 2007 7-5,7-6 before losing the final against Roddick that year 4-6,7-6,7-6.
You are right, James - I am still half asleep!!
