Hopes for 2012

I saw this on another forum where people wrote their hopes for 2011 and are now looking back on them and I thought it was a lovely idea :) It's not so much new years resolutions as things you hope will happen :)

Firstly, 2011 has been the best year of my life, despite there being a lot of sickness and other problems in my extended family and a massive volume of work, mostly due to the friends I made and the chances I took so my biggest hope for 2012 is simply that life continues to be this wonderful! :) Some other more specific ones are:

I hope my 2 final course placements go well (and that I make it to final year in september)

I hope to spend summer volunteering abroad

I hope to be in the Panto cast again as it was the best part of my year (and if someone told me this time last year that I would have had the confidence to audition I would have thought they were mad :laugh:)

I hope the new relationship I'm starting continues, because I finally feel grown up enough to commit to more than a 2 week fling and he couldn't be more perfect for me :big grin:

I hope I'll be able to run 5k by this time next year

I hope my family don't have to deal with more stress

and I hope Andy wins Wimbledon :)

Happy new year everyone, and I hope 2012 brings everything you hope for! :)

It'll be a great year if Andy can win a slam (here's hoping), though in any case sure Andy and tennis will bring me a lot of joy! otherwise I'm just hoping for a relatively healthy and happy year (even if economic outlook seems bleak) for myself, family and all those that I'm close to and everyone on here too! Regardless hope to have some fun!

Hope that everyone I hold dear is happy and healthy. Selfishly hope that son & daughter-in-law don't sell their house too quickly and buy a flat and then go travelling around the world. One child living abroad is hard but two!! Obviously will give my blessing and not tell them how I feel. I hope that Andy gets his Slam, hope the Olympics are a success after the financial cost and hope we have a long, hot summer!!!

I hope Andy wins at least one slam (not that I'm greedy or anything) and that he overtakes Fed in the rankings.
I hope Andy plays Davis Cup anf that the team make progress this year - they deserve it.
I hope we sell our house this year and find somewhere lovely and quiet to live ... as far away from our noisy, aggressive, vindictive neighbours as possible!! And I hope they get their come uppance!!!!
Oh, and I hope all my friends and family stay healthy and happy this year

My hopes in 2012

1. my Health as i have some problems with it now
2. my family member's health
3. Andy's at least 1 slam title
4. my wish to come in London for Wimbledon and Olympics (will it be some volunteering or studying reasons)
5. peace in the world


or maybe 5th should be 1st :))
