Tremendous Jack! Bublik difficult opposition in his own way - easy power and distracting - Jack did well to keep focus and take care of his own game. Cam and Jack through guaranteeing a Brit in the semi, Dan and Andy tomorrow - much needed happy summer days. Well done and thanks for the fun guys
Just hope Jack can find someone who understands his temperament and can let him develop at the right pace. The tennis is definitely there, the desire is there but inevitably there will be setbacks an he must be rotectedandhandled
Thanks RosieBear. Today was the first time I watched Jack. Enjoyed what I saw.
Apparently Jack is right-handed for everything except playing tennis. Like Rafa.....

I thought Jack came across very well in the post match interview. Seems very mature and level headed so hopefully he will choose a good team to be around him

Looks like Cam is going to come through against Jack Draper. Jack shows great promise though. Really enjoyed watching him. Cam is bringing his great clay court form onto the grass

13 Wimbledons, anyone? I was impressed but hope he's not hyped up and additional pressure put on him. But certainly one to watch.
He plays Djokovic in the first round at Wimbledon. It must be a dream come true for him.

Jack certainly showed some grit in the 1st set even if Djokovic made more errors than usual. Djokovic seems in control now though as goes up a break in 3rd at 2-1.
Well done Jack! He beat Jay in the final of the Forli2 challenger and is now up to 213 a career high ranking.

Impressive from Jack, stronger player once the first under his belt. obviously Simon not same force but still had to earn it.

Good win for Jack. Really enjoy his game style, not afraid to come forward. Gillou past his peak but still a tenacious and very experienced competitor. Jack did well.
Well done Jack. Missed this one but glad he got the win.
I saw he'd beaten Gilles Simon last night and I was delighted for him.
Just watching him play Cam … Come on Jack!! He’s so good to watch and I’m not a massive fan of Cam. Just doesn’t excite me I’m afraid

Rublev wins......Draper had him worried though.....he was near melt-down numerous times. Draper will be close to Top 100 & on the rise.
So close! Great effort from Jack.

Geat performance from Jack even if disappointing somewhat with the real chance to win, promising for the future in any case !
I've always thought Jack is one for the future and yesterday's match proved it.

Certainly did not expect that result, great display from Jack, awesome! A few upsets!
He played very well, kept his cool. Saved break points. Very level headed. Tsitsipas had some fans there and of course, his father, front and centre. However Jack didn't let any of it get to him. He thoroughly deserved it. Very impressed.

Jack retires again. He's a growing lad, perhaps he needs to manage his schedule better til his fitness levels have caught up.

It seems Jack and Emma have similar problems in that their tennis ability is way ahead of their physical capability. They are both still so young but they do seem to be working on the physical side and it will just take time. I heard in commentary that Jack was only 5 foot 7 when he was about 17 so has grown almost a foot taller since then!

Not sure what is short term and what is longer term but he had the trainer on twice during his match with Andy, having heavy strapping around one of his thighs, which was then removed.
I stopped watched just before he retired.
If I may use a metaphor, the good news is he is in the same country as Alcaraz, possibly in the same region, but not yet in the same town. But he was not disgraced and he wil have learnt so much from this.
JAMES4578

pity Jack was hampered but think Alcaraz would have been tough regardless. Hopefully does not take too long to recover, whilst game and attitude very encouraging fitness still a work in progress.

I think Jack’s retirement was due to an abdominal problem sustained in his match with Andy, not his thigh this time.
Yes, looked like an abdominal injury this time.
