Well done to the Brit winners, a few that there were close. I see that Tomic came from behind for the win, Rosol though went down 6-3,6-3.

Loss for Eva Shaw but a great opportunity for her to play in her first senior Wimbledon.
Katie Swan and Naiktha Bains have both just won their Q1 matches in straight sets :cheer::GBflag:

Sadly both lost in 5 sets, but should be very proud of what they've achieved this week, once they're over the disappointment.

Fery loses the last three sets 6-7 6-7 2-6 but well done getting so far.
Matusevich lost a great match 3-6 in the 5th. Good sportsmanship and respect between the players.

Let's hope it continues to go well for Anton and Arthur!
I watched the Matusevich match and really enjoyed it. I did find that Andrew Castle saying where Kent is and him talking about Sevenoaks to be annoying as I once lived in Maidstone and that's just over 19 miles away from Sevenoaks.

Katie qualifies 6-0 6-4! Rodionova had heavy strapping on thigh but still a good win by Katie.

Well if we're going to talk about Bouncy being annoying we would need a thread of its own! (But I wouldn't want to read it)

Unfortunately Gordon Reid lost to Joachim Gerard of Belgium 6-2,7-6 in the singles final. Fought back from 2 breaks down to take it to the breaker but perhaps left it a bit too late.
