CINCINNATI 2021, Round 1: Andy Murray v Richard Gasquet

Long time foes on the tennis court, Andy faces Richard Gasquet for the 13th time after the Frenchman came through Qualifying - so he has some match practice under his belt. The former world No 7 and Wimbledon/US Open semi-finalist will take on former world No 1 and Wimbledon/US Open Champion in the battle of the mid-thirties.

Got there in the end, well done Andy. Some very encouraging signs tonight, mostly serving really well just a wobble when trying to close out the set, and some absolutely scorching backhands; trying to be more aggressive. It's after 3am and I'm wiped out, going to have to love Andy and leave him. Keep going for the W Andy! :cheer:
