Ticket applications opened yesterday for those who had registered in advance. Closes in a month, when tickets will,be allocated. I'm trying for the 20/20 cricket. Would have gone for track cycling, but it's in London!!

I applied for both ceremonies and all the athletics on the 8th of this month. I won't know which ones I got until from the 30th of this month onwards. All my tickets cost £22 each and no post and packing was added to them.

I've already put my name down for the second ballot of tickets, just in case I'm not successful.

After printing off what they'd sent me, I found I'd been given five tickets and not four. I'd got another athletics one.

For everyone who have bought tickets: you'll be able to return them if you can't attend for any reason. The tickets, which get sent back, will then go into a resale early next year.

It would be fantastic if London did host the 2026 Commonwealth Games, I know I would try and get tickets for Wimbledon: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/london-commonwealth-games-birmingham-2022-b6967704.html

If anyone wants to buy more tickets, you'll be able to do so next month.

The Commonwealth Games Federation still haven't confirmed that Victoria in Australia will host the 2026 one.

I had to wait for one hour and twenty minutes in the queue for more Commonwealth Games tickets, earlier, but it was worth the wait. As I managed to get an opening ceremony and the rest of the athletics tickets. Now all I have to do is book a hotel and tell my oncologist and the nurses at the hospital that I can't have my bone injection on the 29th July.

I think if Sir Mo Farah runs in either the marathon, 10,000m or 5,000m in Birmingham then he could be chosen to carry the English flag into the stadium.

I received my tickets today. For some reason, they sent me two tickets for Saturday 6th (next month) for the evening session. It's block: 318, row AM, seat: 192 and costs £22 if anyone is interested in going to watch the athletics in Birmingham. Let me know if you are interested, by this weekend.

So proud of my home city. Birmingham doing a fantastic job and the atmosphere everywhere and all the fan zones has been amazing! I am volunteering at Alexander stadium working with the media. Can’t wait to get started today. Have been to a couple of events as a spectator and have one more later this week as well. Birmingham rocks!

The ENGLAND women 4 x 400 were disqualified for a lane infringement but this promoted the Scotland women to bronze medal position.

Yeah, just seen that. There was a delay before they disqualified them. What a shame.

England are contesting it, but unlikely to win.

During the closing ceremony, Elle Simmons stood on the stage and talked about everyone giving money to a charity which was to do with disabled people in sport. She told everyone about a short film that would be shown, only it got shown without any sound. I don't know how Elle felt as everyone turned on her and booed and made shouted at her (which can't be repeated on this website).
