Harriet didn't have a thread and she's been quietly improving for some time.

A few tennis folk have been wondering what happened to Harriet because she was on the Qualies entry list for Indian Wells but then appeared to have been withdrawn and possibly been given a Wildcard.

Here is the explanation!!!

She has been suffering from an illness (not Covid related) and finally sought some treatment so has had to withdraw from the Indian Wells event.

Get well soon Harriet - whatever the problem is!

Harriet has reached the Final of the ITF 80k event in Tyler.
In the Semi-Final she beat [3] Beatriz Haddad Maia of Brazil by 6-4 4-6 6-2.

In the Final Harriet plays [4] Misaki Doi of Japan, currently WR107 (CH=30 2016).
They met in the Australian Open in 2020. Harrriet won in a 3rd set tie break.

A good week for Harriet, particularly winning against Haddad Mia. On live rankings this morning, she is up to 118, a CH. :clap:
