Andy is on the Alternate List for Indian Wells but not entered into Qualifying.
They haven't yet allocated the 5 Wildcard places ... so maybe he'll get one.
He might have decided to go straight to Florida to train and get used to his new bat.

Same as others, bit surprised and mixed feelings. Getting the balance between freshness and being match ready must be tricky. Hope they find it because feel that if Andy plays it right he has a fantastic chance at Wimbledon with so many big names absent for one reason or another. It would certainly be Andy's turn for a bit of luck while others struggle.

I love Andy and I love clay but put the two together and I’m not sure but I’m not the expert and Andy has had some amazing matches on clay. I’m happy he has the confidence and must be feeling good, so bring it on!

Me too. I know dwelling doesn't change anything but sometimes it just gets to me. Every time Andy's getting an edge over Novak bad luck strikes. No sooner than he really gets Novak's number in 2012/13 he had to have surgery. As soon as Andy had properly recovered he was world no 1. Now, after 5 long years Andy's in the ascendancy again and Novak barely played all year - truly believe Andy had a great chance of a deeply meaningful win, but here we go again. I'm not a whinger but it is galling that Novak always seems to get Andy's share of good fortune :sad::sad::sad: But hey ho, just so grateful for the recent positives :thumbup:
