Andy playing at about 3.00am (hope I’ve worked that out correctly) tomorrow morning after two WTA matches :tennis::tennis::tennis:
Can we watch Andy playing anywhere? Or is it just the WTA on Amazon prime ?

I can watch on TennisTV. Maybe it will be on bet365?

I was hoping it would be on Prime but no sign yet. Back to work tomorrow so bet365 is no use for me :crying:
oop for Tuesday here - http://www.protennislive.com/posting/2022/9665/op.pdf
They are meanies and not putting WTA names on same draw sheet.
oop for WTA so can seen who is playing before Andy - https://www.wtatennis.com/tournament/2058/melbourne-250-1/2022/order-of-play
First match Osaka vs Cornet didn't start until 2.15am UK time. I can't find out why. Just an FYI.
Was up at 4 not realising there had been a delay but we're on our way now.
Andy broken and now down 3-5
First set to Bagnis 6-3:sad:

Following on the ATP point by point... c'mon Andy. How is he looking - can he get the break back?
Ugh - Bagnis gets the win.
Andy loses the third set and the match.

Looking at the stats his opponent converted 4/6 BPs and Andy 2/13. How did Andy look?

Didn't watch not sure what to think but doesn't bode well for Andy if he can't get past likes of Bagnis  And that bp conversion rate :sad:
I didn't see the match, but just watched a youtube highlights. The Commentator said 'Outstanding serving' by Bagnis. So maybe he was terrific on the break-points. ? Murray's going to be angry with only 2/13 though.
I think sometimes the ones you're expected to beat are the hardest to beat especially if you're not familiar with their game?

Disappointing regardless, perhaps Bagnis took Andy by surprise but a very low conversion rate. Did not see any of it and perhaps an inspired opponent but will be somwwhat frustrating, hopefully in better form as season progresses though.
Bagnis did serve very well but it seemed that Andy got to read the serve as he usually does. Its the inability to covert the break points that is killing him.
This is just me but he seems to have an almost complacent mood when playing the lesser known players. Almost that he knows he can beat them and so maybe his preparation is not as sharp.
I don't know who used to do his scouting for him, or if he did his own but he has a very sharp mind and can usually figure this stuff out.
I have confidence he will work this out. C'mon Andy......

I’ve also thought that Andy isn’t as switched on in matches he thinks he should win - to his detriment. This is strange as we all know how competitive Andy is about everything.
Also didn’t we hear he’d changed his racket - I wonder if that’s anything to do with it?
I would guess Andy had still not adapted to the time change. He was playing in what was the middle in the night in the UK. It can take a couple of weeks for the body to adapt.

Yes, I agree that he seems 'unprepared' at times, lacking intensity.
I doubt it'll be the racquet, - assuming he's still using the new one, - he wouldn't unless he was getting close to 100% comfortable with it. He would not be wanting to return to the smaller head this soon to the start of the Open.
Opelka had a bird poop on his hat and his match was paused as had a problem to find another.
