Anyone watching Rafa and Alcaraz? I’m in an airport where Prime won’t work and Twitter is making it all Alcaraz winning, is there any part where Rafa isn’t playing well?

Alcaraz was the better player in first set but had a nasty fall in the 2nd and Rafa also raised his level. Both playing well in the decider, Alcaraz seems to be moving well again now painkillers kicked in. Tough to call.

Alcaraz finding form again while Rafa making quite a few mistakes, seems very edgy, don't think he likes playing the new Spanish hero lol

Alcaraz takes it in the end taking the decider 6-3 and an exciting final point, well done! Nadal though just back from injury.

Some match and Alcaraz was stronger in the end, such a mature performance with such belief and determination. Djokovic was in form too. Certainly going places, well done!

Definitely a star is born. Wonder where he will be at the end of the year. Already ranked No. 6 in live rankings.

Well done to Carlos, a very special talent. I'm even more delighted by Ons Jabeur winning the title. One of most fun, entertaining players on either tour and a very genuine, nice person. Now history maker as well as first Arab/African to win at this level. Amazing for the game :trophy::bravo::clap:

Lame final. Zverev didn't turn up at all. The (increasingly nauseating) Alcaraz hype in his head and beaten before they hit a shot. Shame.

Typical of Zverev to not turn up. Commies talking of scheduling but it happens so often and he wins because the other player loses.

Not this time, but now they are giving all the glory to Alcaraz who I do like and I don’t want them to put me off!
