No reason as to why at the moment but Australian Open champions Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have just withdrawn from the men's doubles

Nick did seem to indicate he would prioritise his singles in his on court interview earlier today.
Which is why I'm inclined to agree with SpeedyHawk about keeping 5 sets. Doubles is for the professional doubles players. It's their bread and butter. To me is disrespectful to enter knowing you're likely to pull out of you go deep in the singles. It skews the doubles draw.
Glasspool/Heliovaara into a deciding set against Blumberg/Ruud.
Glasspool/Heliovaara won!
O'Mara/Skupski won in straights against Klaasen/Melo.
Ram/Salisbury win 4, 4 and 4.
Glasspool/Heliovaara have come from 2 sets down to take Mektic/Pavic to a decider.

But the #2 seeds prevailed on 5 sets.

Ken Skupski and Johnny O out too. Ken’s last match on tour.
Ram/Salisbury on court against Mahut/Roger-Vasselin.
First set to the #1 seeds!
2-1 to Ram/Salisbury. Bit of controversy towards the end of set 2, Ram in particular having major issues with HawkEye. But now Mahut is having back issues and struggling.
Joe and Rajeev break in game ten to take the decider!
Joe and Rajeev win the fifth set to win the match :cheer:

I can't watch. If this gets away from Joe and Ram it will be devastating.
And it's over. Absolutely gutted. That zombie forehand and df on match points will haunt them.
This is turning into the worst Wimbledon ever.
Ebden/Purcell win the men’s title with a 5 set, final set MTB win over Pavic/Mektic.

What a great Mens' Doubles final. So close the whole way through. 7-6, 6-7, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2-12).I am glad the Aussies won seeing that they beat Joe and Rajeev in the semis.
