No reason as to why at the moment but Australian Open champions Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have just withdrawn from the men's doubles

No reason as to why at the moment but Australian Open champions Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have just withdrawn from the men's doubles

Nick did seem to indicate he would prioritise his singles in his on court interview earlier today.

Which is why I'm inclined to agree with SpeedyHawk about keeping 5 sets. Doubles is for the professional doubles players. It's their bread and butter. To me is disrespectful to enter knowing you're likely to pull out of you go deep in the singles. It skews the doubles draw.

2-1 to Ram/Salisbury. Bit of controversy towards the end of set 2, Ram in particular having major issues with HawkEye. But now Mahut is having back issues and struggling.

I can't watch. If this gets away from Joe and Ram it will be devastating.

And it's over. Absolutely gutted. That zombie forehand and df on match points will haunt them.

This is turning into the worst Wimbledon ever.

What a great Mens' Doubles final. So close the whole way through. 7-6, 6-7, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (2-12).I am glad the Aussies won seeing that they beat Joe and Rajeev in the semis.
