Shame Jamie's not playing with Jelena coz she's in the draw too. Some of the pairings are quite confounding really.

I'm surprised he isn't playing with one of the brit girls to try and get a pairing for the Olympics like some others are doing.
He is our most successful mixed player, after all and should be defending our honour!
But then again, all the brit girls have jet lag right now.

Just wish Jamie could get settled with a regular partner. He seems such an affable, easy going guy and I wonder why he cant find a permanent partner. Does he chop and change or do they unload him ?
I feel men's doubles needs a team that know each other's play and have total confidence around the court. Jamie seems to have that with Andy but that's not to be - for a few years anyway

bad luck for Jamie and Paul, hard fought match.

Such a close match - & such a tough loss , Jamie.
Gutted for you.
Still, onwards...
Will be cheering you on in the mixed. All the best for that.

Maybe he's lost a bit of the killer desire since splitting with Max and getting married and stuff. Think the doubles circuit can be a bit cut-throat, too - perhaps the time is right for a booty & stretch reunion?

What a shame...Jamie & Shuai lost 3-6,7-5, 5-10......wish things would go his way!

RoastLamb

But lose the STB 5-10. Awwww. :crying:

I did like Peng's blue and yellow dress but I think Jamie needed a stronger partner.

Shame Jamie losing again, making a habit of it. Needs to sort out a permanent partner for the mens doubles, the mixed is just a bit of fun.

Yes, so gutting- it just didn't work out for Jamie! Just hope he can get a more regular partner soon.

Does anyone know how long he's playing with Paul for? Just the Pacific swing?

He's partnering Paul Hanley again in Montpelier, France, w/c 30/1/12.
They're 5th on the Entry List so probably seeded 4 or 5 depending if the guys ahead are OK to play. Fleming/Hutchins probably seeded 3.

Not sure after that - so far no news/entry lists - and he probably won't be in the DC squad with Fleming/Hutchins doing so well with their partnership.

Wins are needed - Jamie drops 90 points next week and 180 the week after.

So sorry for Jamie. Do wish he could get a winning streak under his belt.
