Just announced Alcaraz season finished now due to abdominal wall tear.

This is what Alcaraz says on twitter.

Carlos Alcaraz @carlosalcaraz

After my withdrawal yesterday and having been evaluated by my medical team, @drlopezmartinez and @JuanjoMoreno_M, unfortunately this is the result of my injury: an internal oblique muscle tear in the left abdominal wall with an estimated recovery time of six weeks.

Unfortunately I won't make the ATP Finals or the Davis Cup Finals. It is tough and painful for me to miss these two events, which are so important to me, but all I can do is be positive and focus on my recovery. Thank you for the support!

FTM and FTD is up for World Tour Finals.

I am bit confused by this sentence from ATP Finals website: All singles matches are the best of three tie-break sets, including the final. and for doubles: All doubles matches are two sets (no ad) and a Match Tie-break

Since I have set up FTM and FTD. I need example put in 1st match so everyone predict correct way.

Doubles seem 2 normal sets and 3rd set is tiebreak it seems.

Singles not clear what it saying. My English isn't my first language.

For singles, I think it means 3 normal sets like in most tennis matches. I.e. they go to tiebreaks if score gets to 6-6.

Glasspool/Heliovaara will face Mektic/Pavic after they won 1st set tonight. Ram/Salisbury will be in other semi, now confirmed against Koolhof/Skupski. In the singles Djokovic was already through to face Fritz in semis but had toughest match against Medvedev winning 6-3,6-7(5-7)7-6(7-2)Daniil though failed to serve match out at 5-4 and lost all matches in final set breaker! The other semi will be between Ruud and winner of Tsitsipas/Rublev tonight. Nadal beat Ruud 7-5,7-5 yesterday but had already lost to Fritz and Auger Aliassime in straights.

Ram/Salisbury beat Koolhof/Skupski 7-6(7) 6-4 and will now try to go one better than last year and win the title. Will we be guaranteed a British winner?

Poor performance from Rublev, though at least he made the 2nd more respectful having been 0-4 down. A more confident display from Fritz but missed chance in 2nd, Djokovic looks strong favourite. Hopefully Ram/Salisbury can make their mark in the final.

Really disappointed in Rublev and hoping he can calm himself down, somehow, going forward. Such a nice guy and only person he’s not nice to is himself.

Yes Stef would have put up a better fight, but until he sorts his coaching situation out, he won't progress.

Yes it was a strong performance from Joe/Rajeev to take the title, whilst Mektic/Pavic seems unsettled. Well done!

The singles went pretty much as I expected with Djokovic taking it 7-5,6-3. Ruud stayed with him initially but was never really in hunt once he failed tom force a TB.
