A good display from Emma to fight back in the 2nd but ultimately went down to Coco Gauff 6-3,7-6. However may Rue missing chances as had 2 set points ,positive signs though after she was a doubt for the event mind you.

Pity Sam could not get a win in her final event but still some great moments!

The upsets continue with Iga Swiatek going down 6-4,6-4 to Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina and Coco Gauff lost to Ostapenko. Ons Jabeur lost earlier. BBC Tennis

An entertaining final, would have preferred Rybakina to win but Sabalenka fought back well and was the stronger in the end to claim her 1st slam. Elena had chances in that long final game though.
