I think it may be only CC at present, I haven't seen anyone who has received them for other courts
Is is the public ballot or LTA ballot that has started?
I've not got an email either way so far though

On the Wimbledon website they mention early February and on the LTA website they say the ballot starts from 23rd January up until 3rd April.

As far as the LTA is concerned, seeing is believing. I think Wimbledon does a small test run, probably the main ballot will start next week
Also no venue for BJK Cup tie in April yet.

Good news Pat,well done!
That's good news Pat. I was hoping for centre court tickets as I will be in the UK this summer. Have been on court 1 & court 3, so would love centre court.

I hope get one too! Last year (technically 2020) was my first ballot I managed to get since my last one was over 10 years (I had to use Ticketmaster get tickets instead). Hopefully my next one won't be over 10 years again LOL.

Same here. Not had much luck with either ballot in recent years. Wondering if my holiday to Corfu in May is going to be ill-timed in terms of the resales too. I might be trying for tickets on dodgy hotel wifi

Nothing here either - fingers crossed for LTA ballot. Resales worked for us last year - but prefer to know earlier in year in terms of booking travel and accomodation. Here's hoping we all end up with something.

Nothing for me in the main or LTA ballot. For the past few years I've been fortunate enough to get show court tickets through either the ballot or resale prior to the tournament.
Hopefully I'll get something but I think what I'll do is take either the first or 2nd week off and try my luck on the resales the day before and or join the queue in the afternoon if it's relatively quiet and spend the afternoon/evening on site. Luckily I live close to a station with easy and cheap access into London so just have decide on which week.
Got an e-mail saying successful in LTA Vantage Ballot and guaranteed a pair of tickets. Able to pick a day and court and sold on first come, first served basis. Not very confident in this as am very slow at doing this type of thing and so will probably only be lousy tickets/days when I do get through. Also means getting up very early over here.
I'll give it a go though. :nailbiter: Any help/advice would be appreciated.
I received the same email, late last night, Genbrit. It said I'll be able to get the tickets from next Wednesday.

Hey everyone. I got my first LTA ballot success ever this year. I am glad they've done a sale as I really don't like the allocate and hope we can make it approach. Good luck to everyone that's trying next Wednesday! I hope it's not like last year!
Ok, am I right in thinking Djokovic will play the first day? Can someone confirm for me? Don't particularly want to see him so am going to try for the other side of the draw.

Yes he will open up proceedings on Centre on Monday, 3rd July. I don't know if you are aware but during the first week they have 2 men's matches on the Monday, Wednesdy and Friday on CC. On the other side of the draw, if you go for Centre you will get two ladies and one mens' singles on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If you are limited as to what days you can go and prefer to see men, go for Court 1 on the Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. Last year on the 2nd Sunday and Monday CC had two mens and one ladies. Court 1 on the 2nd Sunday and Monday, had two ladies and one mens. Hope this helps.
This means Djokovic is unlikely to be put on Court 1 until the 2nd week, if at all.

Many thanks, this is extremely helpful. Really want centre court as haven't watched a match there but don't really want more women than men, decisions, decisions!!!! Of course want to see Andy as well if possible and am thinking he would probably be centre court. In a quandry as we will be in Northumberland first week and Scotland 2nd, and of course have touristy things to do as well. Wondering whether I should just try for Queens as will be in London that week. Decisions, decisions!!!! Such a tough life!!!:facepalm::dance:

Fabulous Dizzypops ,not too long a wait really and a great opportunity!
Didn't get up until 6.30am here. 11.30am there, so a bit late to the party!!
Was in the queue 2 hours 42 minutes!! :faint:
There were only a few days left for centre court which was what I wanted. More specifically July 10th, which was sold out!!
Plan B, went for July 9th. "Unable to find seats within the same block"
Plan C, after several considerations decided to quit.
Having to fit it in with reservations we have for Northumberland & Scotland and take away from our sightseeing there.
I decided it wasn't fair to my hubby, although he was willing to do what I wanted. Such a sweetheart. He's still in bed, unaware of the drama I've endured for the past 2 and a half hours!! :barmy:
At least I will be in the same time zone and able to fit sightseeing around matches I want to see on tv. :jitterbug:
Congrats to all who were successful.

I managed to get in, by clicking on the "Buy Tickets" 10am Blue Box in the e-mail. In fact, I can still click on this and get straight to the ticket availability without waiting in a queue now. It still looks as though there's availability on most courts for all days except Centre Court, although I haven't tried them. Apart from waiting 2 and a half hours in the "queue" ,which actually seemed to pass quite quickly, I like the idea of being able to choose your day and court. My big mistake was not starting as soon as it opened. Didn't want to set my alarm for 5am and had convinced myself that if I didn't get tickets it was fine. Which actually it is. I have learnt from this for the next time, if there is one.
Yes, the sale yesterday was just for people who had received the “successful in the LTA ballot” email. It said we would not be admitted to the queue before 10am so I joined bang on. It took me just under 2 hours to get in. All days and courts were still available and I got the tickets I wanted. However, I did read that some people had joined the queue up to 30 mins before and got in with barely any wait so might be worth thinking about in future.
Congrats to all who were successful. I really hope you manage to sort something out themass. It is so frustrating and upsetting when things don’t happen as they should. Maybe you could try phoning and speaking to someone. Just keep trying. Good luck x
I went on at 9.45 and only had a 15 minute wait before getting tickets for Court 1 on the first Tuesday (following themass15's helpful advice). I had been so stressed about the process beforehand so I collapsed in a grateful heep when I signed off.

Called to my friend's for coffee yesterday and her son arrived home and couldn't wait to hear my views, he'd been offered tickets for CC on ladies' final day and his mum had told him not to waste the money - £200 per tickets! For two of us I think the Premier Inn and Travel Lodge do not have actual twin bedded rooms, Holiday Inn Express has (I often use them) but breakfast maybe better in Leonardo's and only a little higher price. Anyway, train fare less than I expected so can splash out on hotel!

From the AELTC. There was a link to access and tickets based on first come first served. Only Centre Court tickets offered for each day but for first few days it was only possible to buy 2 tickets not together. Seats were allocated, not free choice. Checked back later and whilst the first few days were sold out, there still looked like some availability for later days.

No email for me sadly. I think there is likely to be less resales this year … it will be a looooong week in the queue for me!
I would be very surprised too if they do resales. The reason it happened in a large way last year because there was no ballot as the 2020 ballot was held over. There may of course be last minute LTA tickets from returns.
I think there will be returns, but less of them. At least, I hope there will be
I've received an email saying there are some Wimbledon tickets left, starting at £40 each.

Was that from the LTA or Wimbledon itself?

Emails came from the LTA re tickets available from 10am Weds. Out of interest I checked at 1pm to see what was still available. Looked like all CC were sold and single tickets on 1,2,3 but could have bought pairs at £60 a ticket. I was just thinking of getting the cheapest to save queueing but decided they weren’t that cheap. Never sure if you are allowed to buy more if you have tickets from the main ballot but it feels a bit mean too.

Just received an email from Wimbledon saying that all Ballot tickets have now been allocated, however as entered (unsuccessfully) have access to Returns Ticket shop.
You can buy one pair from main ballot / myWimbledon plus one pair from LTA advantage ballot / resale if you pay to be a fan+ or compete member

Is that from AELTC (main ballot) James? I entered and was also unsuccessful but I haven’t had an email

Thanks very much James. That's the same as a link I use, all I get is a page with headings and nothing else showing.

cleared cache but apparently tickets will only show if you have received the email.
There have been quite a lot of returns come up today. They just keep popping up, and I have had a pair of tickets for CC in my basket for day 7 and day 8 … neither are days I want. Looking for earlier days. All days week 1 have popped up but must go really quickly as when I have clicked on the days I want, it says “insufficient tickets available”.
I did get the email through yesterday and I think it only went to people who entered the main ballot and were unsuccessful.

If you entered the ballot, and were not offered tickets, you can try even if you didn’t get the email. I know people who have.

Phoned the ticket office and they say I can't try because they say I didn't enter the ballot, although I know for certain I did!

You should have had an application number in a confirmation email - I had that in October 2022 - would they not accept that?
Yes, I’ve still got the email confirmation that I did enter the ballot. If you didn’t get one, your application probably didn’t go through.

Just purchased a ticket for the qualifying on Monday, 26th June
Have done really well with tickets this year. Entered both LTA and main ballot. Didn’t get anything initially, then had an email from LTA with access to buy tickets online, any day / court, so better than the ballot really. Got CC, 1st Friday.
Then, a couple of weeks later, had an email with access to resales from main ballot and got CC again, 1st Thurs. Seems they have only made resales available to ballot entrants so far this year. Wasn’t easy to get tickets as they are randomly released and sell quickly, but still a few becoming available.

I keep getting this as well, no luck yet. Fingers crossed.
Just keep on refreshing. I did this constantly for about half an hour when I bought my main ballot ones. Keep trying, good luck!

I am really struggling to get rid of my bronchitis and coughing. It been going for 3 weeks now. I am still hoping able to go Thursday and trying so hard to recover soon as possible. Coughing is less now than was few days ago and I know obviously cannot cough while players play and need to suppress cough during playing points.
Wimbledon says no liquid allowed (like water in bottle) and must be empty when go through security but there no info whatsoever about medicine?? Like cough medicine from supermarket. Is that allowed or not if anyone have any experience take liquid based medicine in past?

I took water in and a thermos mug of coffee. Security made me open the flask to show that it was actually coffee then allowed me through.

Best not for anyone to take a Jigsaw puzzle with them after the events on court yesterday, you might get locked up.
on a separate matter, what happened to the Resale tickets site. You used to be able to apply for returned general sale for corporate tickets for all courts, going on sale at 8am and up to 72 hours before the actual day. has that stopped completely ?

So glad you got to be there for that amazing day and see Andy.
Back home after an amazing 5 days at Wimbledon. So, so lucky with tickets this year and was on CC for both parts of Andy’s match v Tsitsipas and Liam’s win v Ruud. Also saw Alcaraz twice and watched some good tennis on the outside courts as well.
Absolutely gutted Andy lost and had no idea that return of serve at 4 all, 15-40 in the 4th set was in! Really believed he would win that match :crying::crying:

This time last week I was having my first day ever at Wimbledon. We were lucky that the rain waited till we had seen the start of Katie Boulter's match and later on court 1 under the roof we saw Carlos Alcaraz, Ons Jabeur and Cam Norrie. It was a good day despite the soaking on the way back to the shuttle bus and I will be putting my name in for every possible ticket ballot for next year.
