He looked tired in his last match but managed to pull it off. Today I'm not so sure, especially our hope for a relatively straight forward 2 setter. x

When he struggles physically, it often takes him a set to warm up.

There was a problem with the individual match feed but the main tournament stream was working fine. Go to main feed and click ‘watch from beginning’ then fast forward past Rublev (1st match). Andy 2nd match. Sets 2 and 3 are definitely worth watching … vintage!

Another great battle - his game and confidence is growing all the time.
This is so great for us to witness - so great for Andy to be able to do this again.

Watched set 1 in real time, then had visitors stop by, so I've just finished watching the replay. What a lovely surprise when I saw the change in Andy's level in sets 2 & 3. His shotmaking was a joy to watch, as he relentlessly put Muller under pressure. Would love to see him do that much more. Although a 3 set match, timewise it wasn't too bad. Tough one tomorrow. :knight:

That was a great reminder of Andy taking a while to suss a player’s game and then just getting on with the job. Easier said than done, fun in hindsight :coaster:
