Says reason for withdrawal is ongoing hip injury but he has to say something and you couldn’t have a better excuse … pretty confident that’s all it is and that he just wants to rest ahead of the sunshine double.

He looked fine in his match against Medvedev and very happy even with a loss. So hopefully it's more from a need for rest and practice than any significant injury.
