We are getting ready to leave on an extended trip.

May 1st, we are leaving New Jersey on a transatlantic cruise to UK. We will arrive in Southampton mid May. I may miss some comps as although I've paid for internet on the ship, the reviews on it are not that good and might be difficult to get connections at times. We will see.

We will then start a 5 month trip around England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland & Wales. Hopefully months and months of planning will work. I'm a little nervous!!!

First stop and last stop will be to visit my son and his family in Wales. I will spend my 70th birthday with my family in London. So excited!!!

We will leave Southampton on a cruise back to USA in October.

I have my bags packed as we are leaving Florida on Monday, on our trip north, with a stop to visit youngest son in Virginia.

We will have a month in Scotland. Maybe we'll bring some sun with us!!! If not, we'll make the most of it.

I fully expect rain and have packed raincoats and brollies!!! :rain:

I am so happy that you're finally getting there. You will love it and I think this time of year is probably the best time to go. Have lots of fun.

Bon voyage! Have a super trip, and I look out with interest for news of your arrival in Northern Ireland. Any particular plan yet as to what you will do here?
