I've just watched her beating Frech to get into the Nottingham semi's.

I think she's got real potential. 5'9" & quite powerful with aggressive shots off both wings. Wants to get to the net, will use drive volleys if the ball's high enough. Service return is a weakness I think, & maybe outright speed, but of the female's in the 100-200 bracket she's got a lot more to her game than the others IMO.

I don't know how many, but I know she's had injuries, with effect on her ranking no doubt.

Has anyone watched much of her before?

Yes, I have thought she was playing impressively recently when I have seen some of her matches. Her highest ranking was just outside top 100 I think.

certainly was a good win over Frech at this stage of the tournament. I have watched her a bit,she upset Paula Badosa at Eastbourne last year.

I think she plays Elizabeth Mandlik (USA) who cuffed Camilla Giorgi next.

It is Alize Cornet who put out Mandlik today 6-3 in 3rd.

Jodie wins 7-5 7-5 - brilliant win for her so it will be a battle of the Brits tomorrow.

certainly good win for Jodie against Cornet who can be tricky, well done. up against Katie who won another tight 2 setter over Heather who has also done well.

She admitted that Katie Boulter didn't make her play her best tennis. I think she was correct.

Katie Boulter had her under pressure throughout the match so well done katie! Jodie though did not have her best day and had hoped for more resistance - still a very positive week!

Yeah, I was disappointed, - she looked outgunned. I think her service return is a weakness.

Although Katy won the final, deservedly so, Jodi had arguably the better week by beating four higher ranked non Brits.

I've just checked the H2H......played 3 times (now) & Boulter has won all of them, - yesterday's being the most comfortable.

unfortunately Jodie lost to Harriet Dart in Birmingham but a close one 4-6,6-2,7-5. Katie Boulter also went out to Zhu.

Quite a cool handshake or did I misread that?
