"Britain's number one tennis player Andy Murray will be joined by his mother and brother on stage next month to discuss the importance of sport to young people.

Andy, Judy and Jamie Murray will top the bill at the first in a series of RBS Museum Talks in which they are expected to discuss their careers and passion for sport.

The event, hosted by Jonathan Overend, will take place in the Grand Gallery of the newly-refurbished National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, on February 7, and is to be broadcast on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Mrs Murray will also highlight her new Set4Sport initiative, supported by the Royal Bank of Scotland, which aims to help parents and children develop their sporting skills."

What a great idea. Would love to be there but only arrive in Glasgow on the 9th. If only I'd known.

I thought it was on live too James; the tweets from Jon Overend implied as such.
Ah, well. I'm working tonight so wouldn't be able to listen anyway whereas I can on Thursday.

Tennis Scotland is tweeting a lot about this programme here. (https://twitter.com/#!/tennisscotland)

But this is the most recent tweet:

@andy_murray (https://twitter.com/#!/andy_murray) finds his mum's Twitter account embarrassing! @judmoo (https://twitter.com/#!/judmoo) #rbstalks (https://twitter.com/#!/search?q=%23rbstalks) @NtlMuseumsScot (https://twitter.com/#!/NtlMuseumsScot) @bbc5live (https://twitter.com/#!/bbc5live)

@judmoo (https://twitter.com/#!/judmoo) talking about the recent GB @FedCup (https://twitter.com/#!/FedCup) successes. Murray would fancy a trip to Argentina for the next stage! #rbstalks (https://twitter.com/#!/search?q=%23rbstalks) @NtlMuseumsScot (https://twitter.com/#!/NtlMuseumsScot)

To answer my own question....from Jonathan Overend on twitter.... "The programme will still be the full duration and will be available as a podcast afterwards"

Really interesting talk - and good to see it getting a prime slot on 5live.
Hope Matthew Syed gave someone in Team Murray a copy of his book 'Bounce: the myth of talent and the power of practice' I know Andy likes to keep things simple, but Matthew really seemed to empathise with Andy's comments on trying to deal with nerves in big-match moments etc. Though with Andy not being a great reader.....
But I'm sure Lendl will be on the case.

Always liked Matthew Syed when he was a table tennis player, great to see how well he's doing as a journalist.

I listened to it all on the bus this morning, really good chat, everyone came across well and some interesting points made. Felt like a bit of a fool snigger away at the jokes on a crowded bus though, ah well.
