As the last one stopped working, I've done a new one.

Well done to Matt Hudson-Smith on breaking the 400m European record, yesterday, at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.

I received an email, last week, giving me priority in buying an Anniversary Games ticket for next year's athletics. They decided to keep it at the same price as this year's one. I went there, recently, and found my seat was near the front which was opposite the water jump in the steeplechase.

UK Sport and UK Athletics have announced a bid for the 2029 World Athletics Championships. I know Lord Coe, recently said, he would like to see London bid for it again. Jack Buckner, UK Athletics Chief Executive, has indicated London is the preferred venue for it after the success of the 2012 Olympics and the 2017 World Athletics Championships.

That's good news. Jackie and I are going to the meeting in London a week after Wimbledon

The BBC's Red Button will be showing the European athletics from Rome from 8.30am until 2pm (14.00pm) tomorrow. Then, from 5.30pm (17.30pm) until 10pm (22.00pm).

Thanks for that Stell. I hadn't realised the athletics was on. I assume they will be showing live on ipllayer. Considering it is a big event it is not even mentioned in the Radio Times.

It was a late deal done by the BBC, cazza99. I believe the next European athletics championships will be in Birmingham.
