Had a break but broken again. now 6-5 de Minaur to serve.
Second set to Andy 7-5
Against the odds, Andy takes the 2nd set! Do hope he can clinch the 3rd; it will do so much for his confidence. x

Well that's put me in a bad mood. Can't believe he didn't win that.

After all that, frustrating. I suppose at least Andy put Alex under pressure this time but may not be much comfort.

I’m starting to wonder if Andy believes he can win now - he makes errors that he shouldn’t and loses when he shouldn’t - it’s hard to understand but I wonder what his thoughts are and how they are stopping him win

I have thought exactly that for a while now. It seems he has a mental block he just can't get over

Gutted that Andy didn’t win this. Saw the result by mistake and I’m glad I did. Will watch later but what on earth happened? If it’s lack of confidence then it’s hard to know how he can get past that but he’s done it in the past and I wouldn’t rule anything out with Andy.

There’s a gap between what he says and what’s actually happening on court.
It doesn’t help when he’s always being asked about retirement dates and apparently has a date in mind.
The psychological side of the game and winning was a huge issue when he was younger - seems like it is now too
Up early and still feeling bad about Andy's loss, although not as bad as he probably is; he could and should have won it. Such a lot of nasty comments around too ( not unexpected and sometimes he is his own worst enemy). I'll always have his back. Good luck to Cam and Dan in their matches today, neither of them easy. x
Seeing both Cam and Dan going out has not helped my mood any. x

Dan did well against Sinner, Cam like Andy seems to have a mental block at present
