Both out now though, Katie lost 6-3,6-3 to 12th seed Zheng whilst Emma lost 6-4 in the 3rd to Wang. whilst to her credit Raducanu fought back from a break down to force a decider unfortunately some physical issues in the last set.

Arya Sabalenka retained her title with a comfortable 6-3,6-2 win over Qinwen Zheng. Rarely troubled and Zheng failed to capitalise on 4 break points (3 of them at 2-0 down at the start of the match) though Sabalenka took a bit of time to serve it out. was only really challenged by Coco Gauff in the semi but the American failed to serve the first set out at 6-5 and went down 7-6,6-4, a few upsets in the top half of the draw.
